Description

This retreat is thoughtfully designed to help you restore balance. All classes are optional to attend, and there will be open space for you to read books, journal, connect and walk in surrounding nature. Our community is warm and respectful, and you will be welcomed in as a friend. All food will be plant-based and made by Yolanda Whelan who is happy to support your dietary requests. There will be some natural wine and non-alcoholic refreshments as we cosy up by the fire.

 

Space

Casa Warrandyte is a grounding, architecturally-designed bush retreat that feels like home. Located 30-40 mins outside the City, expect to hear the sound of birds in the morning, and feel the invitation to slow down.

 

Intention Setting Workshop

Reflect on your year so far and cultivate an intention for winter and beyond. This workshop will include guided meditation, journaling and shared reflections to explore this moment in time. We will highlight our strengths, the challenges we have navigated and use these self-learnings to connect with core values.

 

About Rosie Jean

Rosie (she/her) is a Provisional Psychologist and Yoga and Meditation teacher. With a background in art and design, she enjoys the creative process of designing classes, workshops and experiences for her community. She believes that each individual is an expert in their own life, and finds deep meaning in supporting others in their journey of self-understanding and growth.


About Yolanda Whelan

Yolanda (she/her) is a vegan chef, yoga student, and author of Food for Every Mood. From as early as Yolanda can remember, food has been an expression of family, love, and community. For her, cooking is about expressing gratitude for, and creating memories with, the people you love. Her food is influenced by her upbringing, the community of people who taught her classic recipes, and her travels across the world.

We are very lucky to have Yolanda as our chef throughout the Winter Retreat. Food for Every Mood will be available for purchase at the retreat.

 

Investment

Single Bed in Windowed Shared Room with large surrounding windows (4 beds in a seperate studio) $550 per person (1 bed left)

Single Bed/Bunk Bed in Cosy Shared Room (3 beds in main house) $450 per person (sold out)

Double Bed in Private Room with large windows facing east into the native gardens (Ideal for two friends or a couple in main house) $1000 total (sold out)


Secure your place through a 50% deposit. Full payment will be due by the 4th July.

Refunds — I understand that we are living in changing times and will do my best to offer you a refund if you are unable to attend due to COVID-19. You will receive a full refund if we are able to find someone to take your place. You will receive a 50% refund if we are unable to fill your place. For all other refunds, a full refund is available 20 days before the Retreat to allow space to fill your spot.
