To request an initial appointment, please complete the brief form on the Contact page. Rosie will review your request and get back to you via email.
Once offered an appointment, you will be asked to complete an online intake form in preparation for this appointment.
It is natural to feel nervous about meeting for the first time. Your first session is an opportunity to connect, learn more about you, and consider how therapy could beneficial for you at this point in time.
Rosie will be guided by you in terms of what you feel comfortable sharing and what you’d like to leave for another time. However, Rosie may ask specific questions about your mental and physical health to understand if there are any risk concerns, and to ensure that she is suitable for your care.
Rosie provides a variety of sensory/fidget tools and you are welcome to bring any items that will help you feel more comfortable. If you have any specific sensory needs, let Rosie know so she can do her best to accommodate.
Towards the end of the first appointment there will be space to reflect on the session, whether it is feeling like a good fit, and schedule further sessions. If booking further sessions, Rosie tends to book in a block of treatment (approx 6 sessions) with initial sessions closer together to build momentum.
